Whole School Christmas Panto Trip!
After the success of last years whole school Christmas Panto trip we are inviting all children in CLASSES 2, 3 4 & 5 to experience the joy of Panto once more!

EARLY YEARS Theatre experience - Father Christmas
In school hours - Tuesday 9th December 2025 Early Years Nursery and Foundation classes are invited to see a live performance of the Father Christmas show at The Theatre Royal Plymouth

JUNE 2025 -Congratulations to all 135 participants who ran, walked skipped around Blackawton’s first Colour run. What an incredible day!
JUNE 2025 - Thank you to CLAY WORKSHOP for running these amazing sessions for classes 4 & 5 to experience clay on a wheel and pot making!
MAY 2025 - A once in a life time oppertunity. Blackawton school won 15 tickets to celebrate Sir David Attenbourogh's birthday and attend the Premier of his new film Ocean. Thanks to your donations, 12 students were able to visit London by train to attend. Special thanks to Ms Vicky HARRIS for making this possible.
APRIL 2025 An incredible day of of ore inspiring science demonstrations and activities.
Science with Wondersturck—a big thank you to FOBs. The children loved the ‘wacky’ experiments, rocket building and of course the rocket launch!
DECEMBER 2024 - A whole School trip to Torquay Princess Theatre to see Jack and the Beanstalk.

What is FOBS?
And why is it SOOO important?
Friends of Blackawton School or 'FOBS' is the Parent Teacher Association (the PTA) for Blackawton Primary school. We have two main functions:
1 - Raising much needed funds for the school
(yeahhh!!.. as simple and exciting as hitting the Donate button on this site or as fun as you can throw a stick at, by getting involved!)
2 - By creating forum for you to participate in the education and well-being of all the children at the school.

This section is new to FOBS! You can now donate and pay for things using this page! We use STRIPE to take card payments so you can be sure that all the data type security fandango stuff is all taken care of!
