WELCOME to Blackawton Colour Run - Saturday 28th June 2025

What is a colour run?
EPIC FUN for everyone! Runners, walkers, free-stylers, marshals and spectators throw handfuls of brightly coloured powder as people make their way around the course to give a colour-filled euphoric atmosphere.
Do 1km or up to 5Km - you choose.
OPEN TO ALL SCHOOLS, FAMILES, FRIENDS.... EVERYONE!
Expect to be covered in colour from head-to-toe, but don’t worry, it’s completely safe (powders from cornflour and natural colours- all wash out-able)
WHERE: Around Blackawton Village. Each 1km loop starting and finishing on the school playing field.
DISTANCE: up to 5km - made up of 5 laps- Do as many laps as you wish.
DATE: Saturday 28th June 2025
10AM - Mass warm up to music!
11AM - Run Start
12 NOON - Party: BBQ and Bar to be enjoyed by all.
This is a whole school, whole community event for whole families!
Raising Money for sports equipment and fingers crossed.. a new Running track at Blackwton Primary school.
Amazing things are happening, Just look at what your kind donations have provided this school year!
JUNE 2025 - Thank you to CLAY WORKSHOP for running these amazing sessions for classes 4 & 5 to experience clay on a wheel and pot making!
MAY 2025 - A once in a life time oppertunity. Blackawton school won 15 tickets to celebrate Sir David Attenbourogh's birthday and attend the Premier of his new film Ocean. Thanks to your donations, 12 students were able to visit London by train to attend. Special thanks to Ms Vicky HARRIS for making this possible.
APRIL 2025 An incredible day of of ore inspiring science demonstrations and activities.
Science with Wondersturck—a big thank you to FOBs. The children loved the ‘wacky’ experiments, rocket building and of course the rocket launch!
DECEMBER 2024 - A whole School trip to Torquay Princess Theatre to see Jack and the Beanstalk.

What is FOBS?
And why is it SOOO important?
Friends of Blackawton School or 'FOBS' is the Parent Teacher Association (the PTA) for Blackawton Primary school. We have two main functions:
1 - Raising much needed funds for the school
(yeahhh!!.. as simple and exciting as hitting the Donate button on this site or as fun as you can throw a stick at, by getting involved!)
2 - By creating forum for you to participate in the education and well-being of all the children at the school.
"it takes a whole village to raise a child"

PLEASE DO NOT USE CREDIT CARDS. (they charge more so less goes in the pot.. Plus, we don't want you to get in debt to donate)
